If you've seen The Wizard of Oz, then you know that, at the end of the movie, the Good Witch helps Dorothy understand that she had the power to get back home to Kansas all along. All of her experiences on her journey to Oz, the overcoming of her fears to get the broomstick of the
Wicked Witch and even discovering that The Great Oz was not so great after all - well, all of that was necessary for her to discover and learn that she had the power within her all along.
And so it is with us in terms of the abundance we desire and were born to experience. That abundance is not something outside of
ourselves. It is not something that we have to jump through a million hoops to attain or pass a myriad of 'tests" to deserve. It is already within us. It is for us to learn to see it and claim it - the latter of which, by necessity, requires action on our part.
So what is this abundance and this "power" that
you already have within you?
Rather than tell you the answer, I'm going to ask you to begin to consciously look for it this week. Then I will share more with you in my T-note next Tuesday. That being said, I will give you a hint. :-)
This week, every time you start thinking of all the things you are NOT, change you focus to see what you ARE. Whenever you think you are "not enough" of something, shift your attention and see the something that you are, e.g. instead of seeing the glass as not full, see and celebrate that it has something in it.
And finally, this week start paying attention to all the qualities, traits, talents, skills and wisdom you have that makes you uniquely you.
Then next Tuesday, I'll help you see your innate abundance even more clearly.
To quote Glenda the Good Witch, "You have to find it for yourself - that you've had the power all along."
Of course, if you have questions or comments before next Tuesday, please let me know and I'll be happy to support you!
